Thank you !
Is that the Hise Model A ??
Indeed the Hise. Wondered if the sepia toned photo would be a red herring for something European. Nah.
Over to the lowlands-
Want a nice sepia European number, then ?
Ooooh, I've seen that recently, must go looking to see if I can find it again!
Keith
edit, but of course now I'm looking for it its disappeared!
Indeed the Swiss lady - I thought the recent (very similar) Dewoitines might have deflected you but you're too good ! Here she is-
Thanks Lefty! A full set of Juptners you say? And Moses, a Romanian Aircraft Encyclopedia? I feel very inadequate.....
Are choppers a no-go? I can change it if they are...
Choppers are fine, G - looks like these lads are having a job holding this one together........I hope nobody starts the motor or that chap at the back is going to get a nasty surprise......
Seem to recall a photo of this one hovering with all hands hanging onto the frame. I think it was a Wout offering either here or beyond. (Where is Walter these days?).
Hi Kevin!
Refraining from replying to the challenge. This heli has a very appropriate designation and most SOH should have no difficulties coming up with details.
Am following everythng you guys do on the forum, but breaking in my new PC and working on updating my files (emptying the shoe boxes).

That's the one - so good you named it twice!SOH-1
Over to you srgalahad...
Thanks G. I wouldn't have done so well without Wout's hint although I was headed in the correct geographical direction. So, now off in an entirely different direction/tangent...
It may have been here before but perhaps in a not-so-grainy form

Am I alone in seeing nothing?
I see an embedded image of a cabin biplane. Maybe your settings are off PH?
Well, whilst it wasn't there earlier, it is there now. I think that my PC has been having a funny turn!
The fin & rudder look like copies of the Beech staggerwing, but cannot find anything else like it so far.

BG left a crumb in there to mine. I believe this is the one.

Thanks BG!
Okay, this is a definite early 1930's oddball and it did fly despite the non-photo looking photo.
