No relationship with the (metal) CH-801. This one is largely composite, seats 7 and first flew 2005.

The SUA-7 (Sport Utility Air craft, 7-seat) by Advanced Composite Design, Inc (formerly known as KLS Composites, LLC). Completed 2003, but only flown 2005. Understand that the required 40 hours were flown of, but project then halted for financial reasons and aircraft stored. Registration N3061L

    OH please

  4. #5854
No shot at all at the SUA-7.

How about this twin tail design?

Hi Kevin :salute:. Nice one. Tried to full is in letting us think it had an N-registration??
The French Hurel-Dubois HD-10 built to test the high-aspect ratio wing as later seen in the HD-31-34 twin series.

If correct, I kindly ask to use your photo for the next one.
What plane is immediately behind the HD-10?

  6. #5856
Right on Walter. Indeed the H.D. 10.

The plane in the background is a Fokker S.12 (PH-NDC).

You earned it so please post a new one.:salute:

The one behind the Fokker is a DeHavilland Chipmunk (as in my avatar) and it's the only powered aircraft I have stick time on.

That Sir, is a IDP FG-8 Guanabara.

Half a pint to TK for the little Chippie in the far background.

Hate to hold things up so onward with a biplane-

This looks like the Lincoln Beachey & Warren Eaton monoplane of 1915, powered by an 80 hp Gnome.

    Quiet here

This machine was flown by a famous pilot of that time and was built by a company that continued to be a major manufacturer for many years after this machine was produced.

  18. #5868
    Still quiet

This one-off dates from 1917 and was powered by a 100 hp engine.

This civilian machine is not from Europe.

Hello all - back from sunny Madeira - wish we hadn't - the 757 didn't cope too well with a 60mph crosswind at Glasgow - bounciest, swerviest landing I have had in 50 years flying....

Dave, does this machine have a Standard/Lindbergh connection ????

  21. #5871
    Welcome back Mike. :salute:

Dave seems to have stumped us again. (At least me anyways).

  22. #5872
Not Standard / Lindbergh, but the right idea in the right place.

So now, a real clue to put this one away
