Just discovered this at Avsim today, reading the newest "Bear's Cave" reviews.

Freeware, at payware quality addon for KPLN Pellston Regional airport (Michigan, USA).

Such an immersive scenery with alot of ground traffic aka. cars and trucks.

    Brilliant in every aspect!

Thanks Mike for the heads up. Looks like a well done little airport. Alaska needs them. :d

I like that parking lot full of cars too.

Hi outhere - with my install of the superb Pellston scenery, when I came to near the lights at the side of landing- and taxiways, the aircraft or helicopter crash (as in real life - but in flightsim a minor anoying thing)...

Greenflyer at the high north - Greenland c",)

Sorry to go off topic, but what is that orange aircraft in the screenshots? Looks interesting. And it looks right at home in that scenery (attempt to get back on topic).

Frank, the aircraft in question is Tim Conrad's freeware FS9/FSX Pilatus PC-7 available here, as well as one of several photoreal skins done for it by Lucian Lie aka Yago9.

And to think...I live only a few hours away from Pellston. My job often takes me to that area (not the airport mind you, but I work in Telecom and we have customers there).

Great scenery, I even like the gas price. Now to devote a couple hours to giving it a traffic file.
