Great news, if it really means a fully native DX10 version!

That thread went a bit cold more than two months ago though.

Does Mr Piper ever visit these forums?

Great news! If you guys want to move this along, maybe posting on his forum that you are an FSX user and would be happy to have an FSX model might help  .

The Chippy is the first plane I ever flew being an ex air cadet. Loved this in FS9, can't wait for the FSX version.

Rick posted over at CBFS today saying that the FSX Chippie is a 'back burner' project so don't expect it anytime s**n! He's got a number of other projects to get out before he can finish the Chippie off.

I will be waiting with baited breath as I, like a number of others here, got my first stick time in one when I was just a spotty teenager.

His FS9 version works really well for a port over in FSX and the mods mentioned in the other post fix the missing accelerometer problems and the compass backplate.

A Jetstream T1/T2 perhaps? I know the civilian versions have been done, but I can't remember any RAF ones off the top of my head.
