Throttle in Heatblur Tomcat won't advance past Military

This is a new problem. Suddenly, when I attempt to move my Thrustmaster throttle past Military (so far, only in the Heatblur Phantom), it will not go. Only way is to use the Full Throttle cmd. Any ideas on what's up? NC

Are you using the afterburner command to go from full military to the afterburner range? They kind of used the afterburner button to simulate the detent in the throttle. The manual specifies that you can override this by binding the afterburner command also to the throttle, but I did not have any luck yet with that.

I only used the Afterburner command with a keyboard button, just to see if the throttle would animate forward, which it did. But without a separate keyboard cmd to do that, it won't. NC I swear it worked previously. No idea why all of a sudden it won't.

With the Heatblur Cat it was always like this for me. Maybe you mixed it up with the DC Tomcat? I think that one has the afterburner in the normal throttle range.

I don't think so; I would have noticed it from the beginning! No matter. I will figure it out. I was taking a break from flight simming for a few days, but quickly returned, as trying to get VR working with American Truck Simulator was becoming a pain in the butt.

I will check this out tomorrow, but I think I have found out what I've been doing incorrectly. I kept thinking that "Full Throttle" would engage the AB. Wrong. Apparently there IS a "Toggle Afterburner" setting, and once that command is selected, then the throttle should move forward. I will check it out tomorrow..... NC

Yup, I assigned a button on my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle to Afterburner vs Full Throttle, and the Tomcat throttle is now WORKEE! NC
