    Alphasim's Seafire 47

    Does Alphasim's CFS2 Seafire 47 work in Fs9 without and modification?

  2. #2
    It should work just fine in FS2002 once you clean up the aircraft.cfg file.
    For FS9, it might be tricky. It shouldn't be a problem but that older MDL file
    might be an issue.

    Try it and see what happens.

    No, it won't work in FS9, it's a mdl.610 (=very old design) and cannot be converted to FS9.

    hertzie.

    Scrubbie did a Mk.45 Seafire, which is available at flightsim.com ==> FS2004/FSX/FSX St Ed Supermarine Seafire Mk 45 - FS2004 Warbirds - FlightSim.Com

    He also did a Mk.46 ==> FS2004/FSX Seafire F Mk 46 - FS2004 Warbirds - FlightSim.Com

    and there is the Mk.47 already mentioned by Ian ==> FS2004/FSX Supermarine Seafire FR47 - FS2004 Warbirds - FlightSim.Com

    Make sure to check for fixes and updates.....

    Cheers,

    Thanks boys.
    Pretty sure I had Scrubbie's 47 before but I wasn't too impressed with it the cockpit is pretty grim IIRC,though it was the old Fs2002/2004 version.

    I've been trying to get Dave Molyneux to do me one for years,but he's not jumped in yet.
