    HE111 Cockpit

    Hi All,

Was there ever an update to the old CFS2/CFS3 groundcrew HE111 cockpit?

Not that I know of. I did hex edit the cockpit file to provide more reflectivity with AnKor's shaders to enhance the 3D effect on the glass and interior surfaces.

Brilliant! Well that's a definite improvement Andy ! But still lacking in detail. Is the old gmax source available, anyone?

If someone is going to work on the He 111, we could really use one where the main texture is all on one sheet so we can use a mos file and have bullet holes. And do an H-11/H-16 with the enclosed turret.

I'd step forward to have a go if no one else had the time, but it would mean having the source file of course.

I lost my CFS3 my mojo when Daiwilletti passed away, he was so enthusiastic and encouraging and was continually full of new ideas to try.
Now I'm ready for a new project, still BoB themed, of course
So if anyone has the source file that they could share please?

well you want the source file...

Mathias gave me the file a while ago (talking years ago.....). I started playing with a new he111 pit but no real progress - I think I added 3d gauges..... Send me a pm if you want it, I'll see what I can find. You know... I also have the he115, that never had a pit. I started messing with it but never got the momentum.

    Thanks Ted, You got mail!

On the HE115, I'm guessing that the 'pits would be broadly similar in equipment so it could help to kick start that one.

    Opps...

May have spoken a bit too soon. I looked on one computer and a couple of HDs and did not find it. But, I have another computer that just might be hiding the file. If I have time later today I search - never give up!

    Pat,
If Mathias or others don't work out, I have the upgraded IL-2 He111 pit, if you should want it. It's certainly an upgrade from the GC one, but no where near as good as one of Steve's or Teds.

    Cheers
