That's one way to shut up the rivet counters before they can post!

Looks like it'll be fun to play around with. Price is right.

(And to squelch the "I wish he'd done something real" crowd, the next project is a Hughes XF-11!)

    Mad Max?
Not that absurd - I think it could be an addon for MSFS 2040, then one among of lots of flying vehicles developed when climate change has happened...
    Best regards, Manfred.

The Scrapyard Monster is out at flightsim.to!

I can confirm it is contributing to global warming:

Cockpit detail puts the Just Flight Hawk and PMDG 737 to shame!

(Don't forget to open the French fry drawer. Engine keeps them warm!)

The flight model is 100% authentic for this class of plane and you'll never prove me wrong! But more important than actually flying the plane, since this is MSFS we're talking about, the texturing is amazing. And we all know flying in real aircraft is about taking in the textures around you.

Something about the nose on that thing doesn't look quite right. Doh!

Agreed! That Scrapyard Monster cowling is not accurate to the real thing. I demand a full refund!

Not sure I'll get it, but looking at all the details and textures, it's very well done.

Ehh pray how does it do this?
The engine is at the very back.
Perhaps the prop shaft (yes it is a prop shaft) has high-friction bearings adjacent ?

Have to say that this is such a great imaginative idea, great job!

Very cool idea. Curious of the landing gear, how it tucks up under the fuselage, if this were a real AC would there be any advantage in doing that?

The main advantage of putting wheel under an angle like this, is the fact you can turn faster and in a smaller circle. I'm not really convinced that this is useful for an aircraft. I only know it from specialised sky workers.

I was tempted to make a poster out of this shot.
I nominate it for Shot of the 21st Century, for so many reasons.
