    Riding in the water

Virtavia SP-5B does work ok in P3D V5 but it looks like it might be riding a bit high above the water.

Maybe you have to adjust the contact points a little inside the aircraft.cfg? If so, it is easily to do...
    Best regards, Manfred.

That sounds like a plan but what values to use would be a guess for me.

    Go to the SDK
https://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/LearningCenter.php (this is V4 but V5 is the same)
Under Simulation Objects you can find the parameters of the Aircraft configuration file.
Under Contact points is says that the 1st parameter controls the type of contact point (wheel, float, etc) and the 4th controls the vertical position.

So find the water contacts and since it is riding too high try reducing the value in position 4 a bit. Some trial and error will fix the issue for you.

I made some adjustments, based on a swag - looks a little lower in the water then my first picture. Can you tell the difference?

    Startup engine smoke

I'd like to use different startup smoke ( the smoke effect was better suited for FSX or earlier) - any suggestions?
