    Focke Wulf FW-200C series

    Focke Wulf FW-200C series

The Focke Wulf FW 200 C series was a long-distance sea reconnaissance aircraft of the German Luftwaffe in World War II.
world war. It was developed from the civilian version FW 200 A and B and then by the Luftwaffe
    used in different versions.

The civilian version has been developed by Hauke Keitel in a very well implemented add-on.
he has uploaded this AddOn on FlightSim.com under the name P3D v4 Focke Wulf Fw200A2 as a file
    fw200a2-1.zip released.

After consultation, Mr. Keitel gave permission to add this add-on and
to release the extension under the same terms as its original specifications.
I now have done the extension of the Luftwaffe versions as the series using the original
FW 200 C0 to FW-200 C8, made as good and close to the original as I can. The models
were developed and tested exclusively for P3D 4.5. Possible that you also can use in FSX and
other P3D versions. However, I can neither check nor guarantee this.

Please note the conditions specified in the original readme file by Mr. Hauke Keitel. They
of course are also fully valid for my extensions, since this extension is based on the
original and this is absolutely necessary.

The package also includes a version for AI planes. Please copy and add this to your AI aircraft directory
. Airfields appearing in near future will use them for AI traffic.
The supplied extension contains only the files necessary for the supplement and alone it is
    not executable.

I hope you will enjoy these models.

Some other version will follow in near future. Then i will upload all the models that are used in the
"Fliegerstaffel des Führers" and some other special versions. These are nearly ready too.

    greetings
    Klaus

FW200 VY+OD Plane with Rostock FuMG

FW200 F8+RL Plane that did the evakuation of weather station in Alexandra-Land in the arctis (with a little scenery of that station to comer up later).

At the beginning of September 1943, the weather observation ship Kehdingen sailed from Kiel with the crew of the weather squad "Schatzgräber"
and a large part of the planned equipment. The journey to the place of action was via Narvik and Tromsø and, escorted by U 387, reached
Alexandraland on 22 September. With the help of the U-boat crew, the equipment was unloaded and a weather station set up. From November 17th,
"Schatzgräber" finally reported weather observations ("Obse") and temperatures ("Temps"). At the end of the polar night, "Schatzgräber" also
began taking high-altitude wind measurements, which were carried out using radio balloons. Supplies were delivered by submarine (again U 387)
or by parachute drop from a Focke-Wulf "Condor".
On May 30, 1944, weather inspector Gerhard Wallik and naval corporal Werner Blankenburg shot a polar bear, whose meat was processed into
minced meat by the latter – who was also the weather station cook – and eaten raw by the crew. This was due to the lack of supplies.

After a few days, Corporal Blankenburg, who had eaten most of the tartare, was the first to fall ill with leg pain and high fever. Within
a month, nine other members of the weather squad fell ill, except for paramedic Gerhard Hoffmann, who had not eaten the raw meat because he
was a vegetarian.[3] The medical service at the naval command in Oslo diagnosed trichinellosis via radio remote diagnosis. The operation was
then aborted, and an evacuation with a "Condor" was ordered immediately.

On July 7th, Oblt. Stahnke finally started. Oblt. Stahnke decided to land the "Condor" on Alexandraland, whereupon the landing gear was
severely damaged. On July 8, the rescue team arrived at the base of the Treasure Graves weather station and evacuated the crew.
The spare parts required for the repairs could be parachuted to the station within a very short time, since a BV 222 (identification X4+BH)
was transferred from Biscarrosse on the Bay of Biscay to Banak for support purposes.

On July 11, the "Condor" landed in Trondheim, with the undercarriage repaired in a makeshift manner on Alexandraland, and with all members
of the weather squad "Schatzdigger" on board.

Hope you will have fun with this.

    greetings
    Klaus

That's an extraordinary project, Klaus. Truly an impressive addon for WW2 enthusiasts and a welcome addition to the FW-190 or Messerschmitts BF-109, not to forget the AH Heinkel which is now freeware.
And - last but not least - a very rarely military aircraft version which now is getting alive in P3D. Well done job
    Best regards, Manfred.

    Hi Klaus,
did you solve the canopy issue here? I see (on screenshhots) still no any glass effect and no frames on canopies if you look through the glass. On yours screenshots looks like this issue exists still like in oryginal model:

On turret you have a glass effect but not on material of winshield of canopy.
