Nice 511th FS/Lt. Grabowski skin! Andy beat me to it!

I DL'ed Andy's paint kit (thank you!) and am working on a couple of the more obscure Malcom hooded jugs. You would think that since the hood is a British creation there would be more RAF jugs so equipped. I couldn't find a single Commonwealth example of the jug using it!

FYI: There were some F-47 Guard units activated for Korea, 141st and/or 149th Fighter Squadrons. The USAF decided to stay with the F-51 due to the number in still in service and a still active supply/maintenance chain. The F-47's, I believe, were never deployed in theater.

Also FYI: More Malcom hood T-Bolt skins are just a day or two away.

She looks good in black. They would have been MUCH better suited to the job in Korea than the F-51s, but I suppose availability was king. I'm kind of surprised the Air Force didn't make an effort to resurrect the supply chain, or get some AD-4s.

Ok, taking me a little longer than anticipated. Fine tuning some bare metal skins now, which will be available first. OD/Grey skins still need some weathering.
