I really miss those cars and that class of driver.

The year before in Adelaide it was illuminating to stand at the corner opposite the Stag Pub and compare the different techniques between Prost and Senna.
Prost was always slow in and fast out, very smooth, while Senna was really quick into the corner and kept the revs up to get out fast, this didn't do his fuel consumption any favors (1988 being the last year of the turbos and fuel restricted).
For most of the footage shown at Suzuka it appears that Prost was using his normal technique which spoiled Sena's entry and exit speed, quite obvious by the way Prost could get away when exiting a corner.
Definitely an own goal by Senna.
And just for a giggle, it is worth reading through the bulk of the comments, 99% of the muppets airing their 'opinions' of this and earlier seasons know jack**** ........ typical millennials!
Love those cars, they look functional and clean, unlike the present generation of canoes!
