    Hiding default aircraft

I did a search of the forums here before posting...so hope I didn't miss a previous post on this topic: Is there a way to hide the majority of the default aircraft in MSFS without screwing the sim up? If there is, can someone please point me to the instructions on how to do this?

    Thanks,

    Kent

I have deleted some, i.e., airliners from the Offical/Onestore folder. However, you may have to do so again after a major update.

I believe you can delete everything except for the C152.
I did, and have no probs
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

I think the 747 may be one to watch.
I recall there was a 3rd party aircraft that required something out of the Asobo 747 to operate properly.
I found that when I removed the 747.
    Can't remember which one though

Prob the P3 Orion - beautiful outside model with 747 Pit. Well.....maybe.....one day.....
They all start with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience .
The trick is, to fill the bag with experience before you run out of luck . . .

A few months ago there were only 3 or 4 default aircraft you couldn't delete, but after most recent Sim Updates that amount has increased.
To be precise, after SU7 you can't delete 18 aircraft (for Premium Deluxe edition). Namely:

    Pitts Special S-1S (2 versions)
    Boeing 787 Dreamliner
    Cirrus SR22
    Daher TBM 930
    Diamond DA40
    Diamond DV20
    Pipistrel Virus
    Baron G58
    Cessna 152 (regular and Aerobat)
Cessna 172 classic panel (regular, floats and skis)
    Cessna Citation Longitude
Zlin Shock Ultra (regular, floats and skis)

Of course I mean deleting from the in-game Content Manager.
I think that deleting folders manually in Windows is not advisable and may cause unpredictable problems.
