Lockheed Jetstar 2 in (slow ) works Help needed

    Hello

    Pls have a look here

    http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...34#post1274034

I am trying to bring the FSD Jetstar II by Jim Goldman, never released to life- first try P3DV4.5/5.2 and FSX

    Version 1 FSX+P3D (WIP for TEST )

    So I need HELP

XML gauges designer - we have the bitmaps for the engine gauges,AOA, many others-->drop me a PM

2 serious test pilots in FSX as I work in P3DV4.3-->it flys (well) but is way unfinished-->drop me a PM

2 serious test pilots in P3D -->drop me a PM

MDLX help as still there is flicker and ( look to Copilot ADI ) gauge does not show--> I will talk to fsdeveloper

    Best regards

    Roland

    Dear Community

I uploaded the pre Beta- plane overhere

    http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum....php?catid=219

    Attachment 84853
All glory goes to Jim Goldman- allneeds to improve to you and me -->

IT Is a community project. What I(we- as we are 3- me all plane + 2 flight tester from here) need from you is

    Flight test

XML Gauges creation ( original BMP's Attached )

MORE repaints especially N313JS ( kind of paintkit added PSD Format. You can have BMP too

    Attachment 84852

Somebody which is willing to move it as community project to MSFS2020

Pls feel free to improve any/every thing, but please feedback to SOH

    It has many animations

    Sunshade,Armrest,cabinseat, visor, tables .....
move your mouse through cabin- you will find them- klick and move mouse

WHAT is still to do !!!!
Some gauges are the wrong ones- if they are missing they were paywere I used quick and dirty in development

WE !! need to do interior model again, as I did not animate ( or wrongly ) the many switches

need to repair the flicker in VC

Many lamps are in but the wrong ones

2nd 2D main Panel is from Fraser mcKay where I have not yset a permission-his copyright
Philippe Wallaert thankfully gave his OK to use his and even modify

Hide Yoke animation refuses to function, and in VC Copilot ADI does not show. For that we need to make later a new gmax--> to P3D output- VOLUNTEERS VERY WELCOME. FULL GMAX MODEL exist

Waiting on your comments and improvement

    Roland,

Got the latest beta you sent me. Here are a few images using P3D V4.5

Where are the cockpit/instrument light switches?

Some flickering with the drawer handles

In your latest beta, there is a folder (Effects) inside of that is a file fx_JS2.bmp - does that file go directly to the effects folder and not the folder texture?

    Thanks

    CTD after loading in P3Dv5.2

Downloaded and installed in my version of P3Dv5.2. The Jetstar loads but when I initiate the sim after selection I get a CTD. I am not sure what would be different from the test machine?

I guess my particular setup (nothing special though, just a standard install of both P3Dv4 and 5) doesn't like the gauges or perhaps certain gauges. The first one you posted resulted in the same ctd behavior. The Panel (2) which is minus the gauges lets the plane load and be flown, albeit without working gauges. :-)

Thanks for all your efforts. It is otherwise a beautiful model so I look forward to figuring out the problem.

OK i work on "easier" panel spec

Most likely its the beautiful( self praising ) N1+ N2 gauges in VC which are heavy
I come back to you- just not now 23.45 overhere

Thanks much Roland. Time for sleep. In the meantime I will enjoy it using shift+z for basic flight data.

I have a fairly potent system: Intel i9 processor, GTX 1080ti, 32 gigs of ram and generally run P3Dv5.2 with all sliders to the right with a very large suite of Orbx scenery. Memory is generally not a problem, unless I need to tone it down for one reason or another.

Downloaded the Lockheed L-1329 Jetstar 2 pre BETA. Loaded it into the latest version of P3Dv5. I took it for a flight from Juneau Alaska (PAJN) to Gustavus Alaska (PAGS). It performed great. I did not encounter any problems.

Thanks to everyone working on this project. Really looking forward to this as things progress.

    Great job so far!

    Ground Proximity Warning System

Found a freeware Ground Proximity Warning System gauge for FSX/P3D can be added to any aircraft that has retractable gear and flaps, and offers the following features:

    - Clickable switches, with Test/Inhibit function and warning light.

    - 8 different warning modes, with all the usual aural warnings, like "Pull up", "Sinkrate", "Terrain Terrain", "Windshear" and normal Altitude callouts.

    - Fully customizeable per aircraft type, by just editing the gauge parameters with Notepad.

    - Replaces and expands the built-in FSX/P3D GPWS functionality.

    For FSX-Accel, FSX-SE, P3Dv2/3 and P3Dv4.

It doesn't call the gears up/down - Flaps up/down but for free it works -just carefully follow directions.

It does announce the decent altitude in feet - no V1/V2 or rotate.

    Dear All

Soon you will find a paintkit , by Mike17 (THANK YOU ) overhere. Then the texture artists could do the project many favours

    Whats next then ?

I will repair some more gauges, and make next model ( Beta2 ) available und upoad here
    Also inclusive all the findings

P3D only:I will do like above and add GREY EAGLE'S PBR model ( THANK YOU SO MUCH )+ texture as well

Still we need XML gauges makers, Repainters (N313JS), GMAX Artist (VC) to move further more forward

    Thanks to all contributors

    Roland
