MSFS2020 disappears

Just like that...... pooofff !!

Since a few days it just crashes to the desktop in the midst of a flight, or when clicking on something while setting up a flight or in options.
I also seem to have lost my AirManager link to it (still works fine in X-Plane).

Any ideas welcome......

Maybe removing the content from the community folder helps, if an addon causes the trouble. Another thing is to remove/rename the community folder and do a "repair-install", at least with the steam version you get a function for this within the steam library settings. Don´t know about the MS version though.

Did you change anything - most likely ad or remove?

Yes, I added some plug-ins and a few airfields. My first add-ons ever. Not bought via Steam though..... will see what gives. Thanks !

I had a replicable CTD that was happening related to the TNCM addon. The dev's blamed MS and MS blamed the dev's. Lucky for me, I found a fix on the official board and it's working fine again.

I'll let it slip this time because you're obviously in distress about your problem. I'm sure you'll get it fixed one way or the other. Good luck with that !

( btw, you installed a first few airports... it's not like TNCM is amongst them by any chance, right ?...;-)

It's a great addon - once you apply the fix to get it working. The Sunset Bar and Grill on the south end of Maho Beach looks great at night with the lighting used, and the dev's packed the beach itself with a bunch of people waving like idiots as you come in on short final. Grand Case on the north side of the island is also included.

LOL ! Oh, okay....... I am a bit 'off' for now... haven't looked at add-ons for MSFS at all, except for the LLH ones of my beloved French Alpes
