I'm not sure if this is the right Forum but I'll try. Will Windows 10 recognize a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 USB Joystick?
My OS is currently Win8.1 64 Bit and want to get a Laptop. All the New Laptops seem only to have Win 10 installed, hence my question. My current rig is a Desktop and it recognizes the Joystick no problem with Win8.1 and works well. The CD that came with the Joystick doesn't fully install right, but for me it doesn't matter. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Howdy Steven. In my Windows 10 machine, my Sidewinder was plug and play, no problem. Still works great after 20 years.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully when I get my new rig, I won't have any problems. I have heard of cases where in the newer OS that the Joystick was detected right away and others it wasn't detected at all. I'll cross my fingers.
