Sticking this one due to special relevance here at SOH...

Quoting one of the comments on the video:

Flight Simulator 2020 in trailers: Beautiful landscapes
Flight Simulator 2020 in game: Searching world map endlessly for these places, just like Netflix browsing.
I feel that to my core!!!

Anybody purchase it yet? I am considering getting it. For $15 I can take a risk. Folks over at AVSIM seem to like it well enough not to shoot it down in the first two pages.

It looks like an Asobo release. If it is, I'll probably get it.

I tried to purchase it earlier, however Steam ate my money and the purchase failed. So waiting on support to get back to me and manually add it to my account.

There's a first time for everything I guess.. hopefully a last time too.

I mean, it looks great, but we have the Savage Cub, XCub, and Shock Ultra already.

I know the Husky is technically a different plane, but it's so similar to three planes already included with the sim...

(He says, knowing he'll likely buy it next time he gets another $10 Bing Rewards certificate built up...)

    YT review:

this digital screen of avionic looks very interesting, many functions like GTN.

Especially for the Savage Cub, but it's a different design (also more STOL), especially inside, but for sure, you have You're right. What is good though is the ski and float version. Probably I'll take it.

Differential brake doesn't work. Looks like a bug for me. This has to be reported to Zendesk.

This is real example with differntal braking (from 1:12):

I bought it and flew it once. It handled fine and looked good. Garmin didn't come on, however. I couldn't find a manual and fiddling didn't work. I am too tired to care right now anyway. I am having some health issues that are keeping me from sleeping.

The only remarkable difference to me is that you can actually open the door/window in the Husky.

If they can do that, they should better have implemented it in the Shock Ultra (not to mention other stock aircraft) along with the floats and skis, instead of trying to take $15 more from us.

When I saw Asobo/M$ "introducing" that new payware as if it was the "new wonder" we all expected, I must say that I was fuming.
Torture numbers and they'll say anything.

Can the flight dynamics be edited, or does it use the "fsarchive" system that the deluxe and premium planes use?

As far as I'm aware, absolutely everything from the MSFS marketplace is going to be encrypted, and can't be modified.

Bummer... I almost always make edits to the ground handling parameters to make it easier to get around tight corners at small airports.
