Last year, I remember seeing a payware fictional airport add-on that was unusual, in that the hangar opening was on the side of a mountain. Now I can't remember the name of it to take another look at it..... NC

NC, although this probably might not be what you are thinking of, it is the only scenery addon that comes to my mind (though it is not fictional, and it is not payware). Its got an open hangar structure that is built into the ground/rock, and within a very mountainous region.

Yeah, Locher was the one I thought of too, with that description. Otherwise there is the 407 and Learjet spy misison from FSX on the Japanese Island. That had a hangar that opened on the side of a mountain from memory.
"Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there".
Nope, it wasn't Locher, although that is a amazing addon. The one I am looking for is definitely payware.
A Swiss Airforce base perhaps with their "Kavernen"?

It may be something like that, Priller, but I do recall seeing it on Simmarket. I even remember seeing a Youtube video, reviewing it. NC
Found it!
Not the most detailed scenery, but interesting idea.
