Description: This DH82A Tiger Moth was licence-built in 1934 as c/n 185 by Kjeller Flyvemaskinsfabrik, hence KFF on the wheel covers instead of DH. Kjeller completed their Tiger Moths without wing slats and to this day LN-KFT doesn't have them, nor the ugly but (possibly) life-saving anti-spin strakes.

LN-KFT is beautifully restored in the markings she wore as a primary trainer for the Norwegian Air Force. It's a simple scheme but I love the contrast between the drab surfaces and bright national markings. I struck lucky with the name 'Rittmesteren' (riding master) on the cowling - if it's not actually in the Edwardian Script ITC Windows font it's pretty close!
