After 8 days of successful use of MSFS following install of v1.17.3.0, I'm getting a request to install again. Anyone else experiencing this? Why would this occur? Did MS detect a problem with my install then want to fix it? I'm holding off reinstalling pending comments. Thanks.
Same thing happened to me. I let it reinstall. It was less than 500 mb and only took a few seconds. After that everything worked fine. I did not have to reinstall the Scandinavian scernery.

I got that too but it was only a few kilobytes.
Sometimes when there's a small patch after an update they don't bother updating the changelog screen for some reason.
don't worry about it, I don't know what it changed but it was a non event for me.

Thanks for those experienced responses gents. They are much appreciated. I'll proceed with a reinstall.
Apparently the update was to install the Aviator liveries which were somehow not included in the main update.
Expect banging, belching and an occasional manly fart as you roar down the runway at full power. (I have found that the engine can make similar noises)
There are also some new effect files - possibly in preparation for the upcoming DX12 and particle effects.
