Nakajima A4N1 Japanese 1930's carrier biplane for CFS2.

Last month mksystem asked if there was a Nakajima A4N1 for CFS2, well here it is.... It was one of the many projects I had started, so this spurred me on to finish it. All the usual, LODs, effects removed, a nice VC, 2x texs, fun to fly and dogfight with, and no FR hit at all.

Used by the IJN as a carrier based fighter/bomber in the mid to late 30's, also against China, and then as a trainer early in WWII.

As I always say gents, glad you like it, but it wouldn't be here (including the VC) without the original builders..

Thanks very much Shessi - a lovely model.

I'll check out the CFS2 Hosho. I don't know if it will be as good as your FS2004 version.

    Need help here........

...as I can’t seem to get this bird off the off the ground ! It renders beautifully and everything seems in order but when trying to fly it runs along the ground like a lame gooney bird. Never exceeds 33 knots.
I have also A.F. Scrubbs A1N1 and it takes off beautifully with np anf flys responsively. This is a old winXP sp3 relic I am reinstalling everything on.
    Any hints/help appreciated.

    Hi F,
Well you're the first and only person to say that, are you sure you have installed the CFS2 version and not flying the Fs9 version?

Apart from that or you have a joystick throttle problem (try the KB numbers keys to act as a throttle)...I do all my sim stuff building/painting/flying in CFS2/FS9/FSX on an XP SP3 machine, so it's not that....I'm not sure what the problem can be???

I'm not aware of Scrubby's A1N1, can you say where you got it, I'd like to take a look.

    Cheers

    Shessi.......

......thanks for the comeback. I didn’t mean that it was a fault on your part as I know that you post exceptional quality products as I have A LOT of your models that operate flawlessly. All my other a/c respond to the throttle as does this bird, so it is not that.
I d/l’ed AF Scrubs A1N1 right here in the library. It was submitted by peperez. Your plane I also d/l’ed here and I believe it was the CFS 2 model. I will try again on the d/l and see what happens. Strange....
