Great Jan Kees, thank you for your nice work!

Little Update to my N6539C repaint.
I rework the front logo of NOAAs DC-6 by myself from scratch. I wonder, even the Google image search shows no hits. Hmmm.

If I don't get an answer from the second contact tomorrow, I will publish the repaint with this logo. The text is then just not right. After 1 weeks of logo hunting - enough is enough.

I think it looks good and you should publish. I share your pain looking for old logos. Took me forever to find the old 63MAW for my USAF tail....found plenty of the recent ones...but the one they used decades ago...was tough!. Did finally find it though.

Important message to those of you that have installed my first Braathens Safe livery (LN-SUB 1964). The previous versions that were installed directly into the Community folder may not load after the sim update 5.
I have now re-uploaded the livery to flightsim.to and prepared the file for installation via the PMDG Operations Center. Please re-download the livery and remove the old installation from the Community folder before installing the update.

Hey guys, I just came across this awesome article, and I was wondering if this livery has been painted yet? The story of this aircraft is really cool!

That is an interesting article. Thanks for posting the link. I have been fortunate to visit Alaska several times. I flew out of Anchorage in a C-206 for a bear photo trip. The number and variety of aircraft is amazing. Reminds you of Oshkosh, except is it larger and the aircraft aren't so sparkly painted.

There are multiple Everts liveries available for the DC-6 - some directly from PMDG via their Operations Center, and others in the library here or at flightsim.to . You can fly a good portion of their fleet!

I'm surprised no one has done a Mackey Airlines repaint. Very historic airline.

    Marine Air

Love this aircraft and all the great liveries that you all have done.

I noticed that no one has done the US Marine version of this aircraft. There are a couple of versions, but this one seems interesting. Would anyone be interested in bringing her to life? There are unfortunately not many pics that I could find of her, but I do see that the wing seems to use the standard convention of having the US insignia on the top left wing and bottom right and MARINES painted on the opposite side’s wing.

    Thanks for taking a look!

This livery was actually on a DC-7B while flying for the Detroit-based Nomads Travel Club between 1966 and the early 1970s. But i kinda liked the look of it so i had to stick it on the PMDG 6.
