The Last Good Day Of Summer!

Just an excuse to post a shot of my new 'Daily Driver'.

Just one of the most entertaining little cars I've driven for a very long time.
And yes Ferry, I've put the 911RS into storage after some Dickhead scratched a big section of the passenger side while the GT40 is just impossible to drive on public roads without attracting the 'wrong' attention.

Nice car, but it doesn't really match with the Dutch climate

    Cheers,

She's snuggley warm with the hood up and the heated seats on Huub!
As you can see I really meant it when I said 'The Last Good Day of Summer', Autumn was a non event and it has been wet and chilly for weeks.

The above demonstrates what we have to contend with when we visit the Burbs, those bloody crew cab trucks are a plague and have been marketed as 'Family fun Vehicles', much to my disgust.
Many are driven by 'Soccer Mums'......or rather 'operated' as they can't drive trucks.

Ironically it was a 'Tradie' (aka a Bogan) in one of those idiotic Ford Rangers that gouged around A$20,000:00 worth of damage down the passengers side of my 911RS when supposedly 'parking' his barge.
Or rather that would be the cost if I put it through my insurance..... I'll spend the Winter with my crew fixing it on my own dollar.
It reinforced my thoughts that owning an exotic classic is not a good idea if one wants to drive in Suburbia!
We now take our own 'Farm Truck' into the burbs, one way of exacting revenge!
