Having flown these things in advanced flight training, I recall a favorite picture from my time in VT-22 at NAS Kingsville, Tx.

The photo was taken during an open house / family day in the summer of 1966. The lady in the cockpit was my then-new wife; it was pretty windy that day.

The right side is partly covered with a poster containing information on the airplane and its use in training for those not familiar with the details.

The open house encompassed VT-22, VT-23 and VT-24 static displays. This Cougar belonged to VT-22. VT-24 had a TF-9J, VT-23 an F11F as I recall.
