The "bookend" to "00" is almost ready. Need to do some lite weathering and that's about it.

Thanks Roland. Yes, I will include both lightly weathered and factory fresh textures with the upload.

Just uploaded the gray and white VF-61 Cougar. As requested I've included a factory fresh scheme which is the default as well as a very lightly weathered version. I think you'll hardly notice the difference but there is even though slight.

    Simply outstanding Duckie.

You are right as it is hard indeed to tell any difference between the factory fresh vs slightly weathered skins. These old eyes didn't catch it!

    Thank you very much.

This is a really well done repaint of an equally good model, but for some reason, I can't get it to display. The two other skins show up just fine, but not the gray. I'll start over and see if I can find what I assume is an error on my part.

Sorry you’re having problems. Check your cfg entry very closely to make sure everything is correct. This can give me real headaches sometimes.

    Hi Downwind,
I had the same problem and when I checked the aircraft. cfg I've found model or panel=original.

I've deleted "original" and this beautiful texture appeared (Thank you Duckie !)

    Ciao

That errant "original" in the config. was the problem....Thanks!

Wow, guys. I’m really sorry about my sloppy house keeping. I experimented with modifying the model material settings so I could better control the texture reflectivity and shine. Forgot to change it back (obviously) before I shipped it out. Glad y’all got it sorted. I’ll try to do better next time.

I found this VA-66 bird I kinda like because of a couple of oddities in it's appearance. Also had to make some compromises to make it all work. Still some to do but the heavy lifting is done.

Thanks. According to what I’ve read the dash 8B was modified to carry a “special” tactical weapon as well as more conventional ones.
