Project Havoc Boston! ...the lesser know versions.

Before anyone calls the Feds, I'm not advocating anarchy in the USA.....

I've always liked the Havoc/Boston, one of those good looking all-round aircraft, used by many countries in different versions. We've always had the good old Alphasim Boston III, and then Milton gave us his superb A-20C and G models. Unfortunately the early and odd versions have never been properly done ie the DB7, Havoc I/II, Turbinlite, the Russian A-20 oddities and the early block A-20G's, so I thought it's time!

There's no time-line on the these, but I've made a start with the simply lined DB7, currently being finished/tweaked and tested, then uploaded.

    Cheers

Looking good and a big 'Thank You' from me!
Said it before but this is the reason I keep FS9 running on my FS System.
Really good to see the lesser known versions being worked on.

    Excellent!

I've always been a fan of the A-20, and you can tell from the projects I've worked on that I love to have all the different versions.

Thanks Shessi, looks promising. "Lesser known" is relative concept. The French flew the DB7 and even the Dutch had ordered the DB7. So perhaps the early DB7 was even more common in this part of the world than the later models. Really looking forward to the Turbinlite. Perhaps not the most common aircraft but definitely not "lesser known"!

    Douglas DB7 Fs9

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Props

Description: A rebuild and conversion of the Alphasim Douglas Boston III light bomber to a Douglas DB7 medium bomber for Fs9.

The original Douglas Boston III model made by Alphasim in 2004. Milton Shupe has also made

some superb FSX/Fs9 models of the Douglas A-20C and G models, but the early models have

not been covered, so I decided to fill in the gaps, starting with the early French DB7 model.

    Mark,

Many thanks! I use this model extensively in the Battle of France. The Alphasim model was decent, but this redress is a major upgrade. I hope you will consider a CFS2 overhaul as well?
