    Fokker D.16

I restarted a project I abandoned somewhere in 2011. But this time its for FSX and not FS2004. Work is flowing evenly, but there is still much to be done. Fokker D.16! The most difficult problem to tackle is formed by the animations. I'm getting great help but nevertheless it will take some time to finish this one.

She's looking nice! Keep up the good work.
Good to see that FSDS is still being used, I have been thinking about buying it myself.

I know that model Cees and I still have it in FS9 along with the S.IV. Looking at the pilot you still haven't gained any weight

Really nice you will finish them for FSX (Hopefully you will do the same once for FS9 (wishful thinking))

    Cheers,
    Huub

As I'm retired I have plenty of time to work on this project. The VC is coming along nicely, bit there is still lots of work to do on the gauges. I installed sound in the VC. Great for the immersion.
I'll see if it is possible to work from the source file with all the animations for FS2004 and make a version for FS2004 too, no promises though. And Huub, I lost weight the past months, about seven kilos!

For those who know the real "classics": Two "Thijs Postma" images (With who Cees and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person a few years ago!)

And the D.XVI by the real Thijs Postma:

    Chocks away!

Adding more details, learning a lot, getting great help from Spad54, this project is so much fun! Can't wait to add shine and bump mapping to the model! But that will require some studying!

Good work! She looks really nice! I remember that painting from Thijs Postma. My dad has a book chockfull with his work, very talented guy!
But anybody making such a beauty for FS is a very talented guy too!

But does it fly good? That's the question!
