    I also use the MSFS way.. I'm too uncoordinated to fly the plane and do all that lever and button stuff.. Normally I wait till I'm near or below 100 MPH and that seems to work for gear down, Fir gear up I'm on my little joystick button as soon as the wheels leave the ground..

    I am a bit confused about this one. The page says jump in and fly or use the gears and flaps "like a boss". Does this mean that it flies just as well if you forget about flaps and gear or does it mean that you can use flaps and gears with the default keys or accurately with the hydraulic pump button on the stick? The latter thing would attract my interest.

    It's the latter. You can just hit "G" for Gear, or do it the realistic way with charging the hydraulics, etc.
