Searching for an Aircraft Manual

Recently I decided to have another go at the Folland Gnat. Six Years ago I was apparently on the cusp of releasing an extensive update for the Gnat and then for some reason I stopped and never finished it (found the original thread from that time). Anyway. I am at a point where I am replacing the fuzzy avionics art that was in it with crisp replacements and there are some gauges that I cannot find (The Trim System for one) and I was hoping that "Avialogs" would surely have plenty on the Gnat. . .not a single page, lol.

I've tried looking through images using every search wording I can think of. No one takes close-up photos of cockpits, they seem to prefer what I call "Artsy Fartsy" glamour shots. . .of no use at all unless you want to see what a cockpit looks like from 20' away, lol. So does anyone know of any other sites like Avialogs, that caters to manuals and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to sift through the pages? Any help would be appreciated.

Henry I went through the site a bit ago (I rely on it quite a bit when drawing avionics and gauges) "Folland" wasn't listed.

Found it Henry, but unfortunately while I did find descriptions of a few things I was curious about, none of the manuals had good illustrations of any of the cockpit components like I was able to find when working on the AMX. So the search continues. Thanks!

I may be able to help.

This is a new addition in our museum, waiting on a team to assemble it.

While the cockpit canopy is closed until we're allowed to open it , I may be able to get suitable close up pics of the interior.

The Norfolk and Sussex Aviation Museum has a Gnat cockpit procedures trainer. No 'inside' photos on their website

Pete that would be awesome (if they will allow it). Being familiar with texturing and what would be ideal when thinking about photos and their use in texturing a VC, you would be more apt to get the "top down" close in shots of the avionics panels (left and right) and then any close-ups of the main panel. The problem always seems to be that placards and smaller decals are unreadable and those little things make the overall feeling much more realistic.

I have placed some avionics that were made for other airplanes and they suffice since nothing on the side consoles is functional anyway, but having the exact items in their correct places would really finish it off nicely.
