    How would you compare this to say, Dodosim's heli? Once there is a heli in msfs actually flying like a heli, I plan to swap in my heli setup and give it a go.

    This project evolves at breakneck speed! Sometimes three updates in one day. They are almost at 100k downloads. It is a incredibly beautiful model, and SO much fun to fly! NC

    Indeed. There was another update, apparently to fix missing interior textures from the last update, or was it the current update..... Anyways, it is a fun flyer. Actually easier than the dedicated hilos in FSX now IMO. Have to remember to switch to Legacy flight mode every time. And there must be a gig of liveries to choose from.

    First helo, top design...and free!!!

    My brother was, shall we say, pissed-off that MSFS 2020 came without a non-fixed wings aircraft.

    Enthusiasts (and quite dedicated) modelers are putting M$ to shame with a remarkable Airbus H135, still a WIP (work in progress), but what a progress! Actually at 0.83, the model is better - and by far - than many payware gauging our pockets.

    The learning curve is a bit steep (it took me two days to make one budge...), but this video should help;

    You can get this little marvel here; https://flightsim.to/file/8970/airbu...copter-project

    To the Hype Performance Group and developer David Amenta, a tip of my hat.

    N.B.- Now at model 0.84 !!!

    A show stopper... literally

    Was taxiing for takeoff from some airport when, just to my right, I spotted a H135 parked. Almost lost control of my Cessna 172 (was only taxiing, remember?) and had to make a U-turn just to be sure.

    Was not aware that MSFS 2020 could include 3th party aircraft in its sceneries.

    Yep. If you set this in aircraft.cfg:

    isAirTraffic = 0 ; Is the plane usable for air traffic

    ... to 1 instead of 0, you'll see that plane/livery at airports.

    I havn't fiddle much with the inners of the beast, so this must be already at 1. I must have crossed the path of a few addons but a chopper does stand out of the crowd.

    I wonder; when will I meet a carboard spit. Will check that CFG...

    Funny fact; The carboard spit had a 1... and the H135 didn't!!!
