    Thanks Ed!

This is Sulphur Creek Ranch, ID74.
I've been building a lot of custom objects for this one. It will be in the second batch.

Btw: I'm struggling with the placing of objects in ADE. In the sim the objects are never really in the right place, where I put them.

I use ADE to lay out the airport (ramps, parking etc) but Instant scenery 3 (payware) to lay out objects.
You can't take the sky from me...

Same here Brian. Cees, I tried ADE and just found it to be too hit and miss. Besides that I had been using Instant Scenery for years and the WYSIWYG advantage was the real plus. . .I always knew exactly where the buildings would be placed and I could reduce, enlarge and move objects in the sim right in front of me. Also much easier to place grass or individual shrubs when in close proximity to buildings or other objects, when you can see exactly where they are going.

I know this is a niche market, but I really could use some betatesters!

OK, you talked me into it. Despite having an infected molar removed today I still feel like I might be able to help you out. I presume you will be sending a PM on this?

Thanks Ed! I'm already reworking the sceneries with your remarks in mind. The shadows were a piece of cake! Very easy in ADE! Now for the white/red spots!

    The second batch is uploaded.

    Happy flying!

The third batch will be situated in Montana. One of the strips will be Ryan Field 2MT1. The buildings are a point of interest. I took several screenshots during youtube movies but that leaves a lot unaccounted for. If anyone of you guys has material concerning these structures or can point me to material that'd be great!

This is perhaps a useful tool when you're planning a Backcountry flight:

Backcountry Flying - Google My Maps

I will update this map and I'm working on another one with all the strips from Ed added.

Any other year... Whitefish/ West Glacier is a weekend trip for me but no idea when the Can/US border will be open for tourist traffic.
However, you might try contacting Kruger Helicopters as their base is a mile or so west of 2MT1

I'll ask around locally and see if I can find anyone.

    I came across this video!
The Coolest Back Country Airstrip -- Ryan Airfield by RAF - Montana - YouTube
This means I can start all over again!
All the previous buildings are gone and are replaced with one 'barn' RAF is the new owner.

I made that one with SAMM from a freeware FS9 model packaged by ZiggiFsims. I must contact him before I upload this scenery.

I found a workaround! I used the old EOD proggy to make api's. Then I converted these to BGL with MCX!
    Et voilà!
