    Has anyone had the same issue and solved it? Great freeware but it doesn't show in FSX. The nomal Scout does.

    Cees, where can I find it? I'd like to give it a look.

    Check the panel.cfg in the tundra version, most likely it uses an alias to the normal scout panel. If the path is wrong you get no panel, therefore no plane.

    That's what I saw too after trying some other possibilities. We shall see in a few!

    What I had to do was copy the panel and sound folders from the Standard Scout and paste them into the Tundra version. Nothing else would make them show up.

    If I remember correctly, in FSX ALL the files and folders for EACH aircraft must be in each individual aircraft folder, unlike the P3D versions which can link to multiple outside folders.

    If it is from the package linked to above then the issue with the tundra model is that the panel redirection is wrong

    It says
    Alias=LICScout8GCB\panel

    The problem is it should say
    Alias=LICScout8GCBC\panel

    as LICScout8GCBC is the name of the folder containing the non tundra version

    You CAN Link

    It IS possible to link to other folders in your sim for panels but ONLY for 2D Panels NOT VC which is part of the model and often times the texture. IF memory serves me which often lately is not as good as it used to be. LOL!
