Still all the VC to do, and a set of gauges to have it finished, the model uses actualy nearly 40.000 vertices, MakeModel keep on to compile it for now, let's see how long...

    Best Regards
    Martin

Lovely work Martin. A very reliable mount, and easy to land, but I wouldn't want to take evasive action in her. Love the livery!

Thanks Ravenna for your good words, I'm glad you enloy the Harry Tate.
The Re8 wasn't the plane that would have win the first price for beauty, and she had some reputation to be a "Fokker Fodder", but she was involved in lots of reliable tasks that drove her into the legend, I built as a child the venerable Airfix kit and it stayed since in my imagination.

    Cheers

I saw you uploaded your RE8 for FS2004. Will you upload the CFS2 version as well?

  16. #16
    Bonjour Roxane

    Bien cordialement
    Martin

Yes, course, I'm on the way to publish it, I wait for extra liveries to fit her, she won't have anything to envy to her FS9 sister, I'm working on a throttle 3D animated with gauges on the VC.

    Hello Martin,

    ...and you can be!

One thing is to make a reasonably decent model in AF99, fighting the
limitations, and adding some SCASM, and quite another is to get oneself
into Gmax with any degree of success.

I tried at least 4 times in the last 15 years to get myself into Gmax,
to no avail. I never got beyond the tutorial.

    Cheers,
    Aleatorylamp

Badly I don't have any precise pict for the oil pressure gauge (panel's upper left) and the fuel quantity (under the windscreen, visible from a mirror). If someone could have picts from the Shuttlelworth, TVAL, or Brussel's Re8, it would be fine

    Have a lovely week!

The bomb payloads are, for a part, from John Fortin's Weapon Pack

The rl 100lb and Mk1 incendiary "Carcass" are from Martin Klein

The textures A3474, A3490 and A4397 are from Mike Lang "Ravenna", well done Mike!
The others textures are from Martin Klein

Many thanks to Stephan Scholz, Kevin Driver "KDriver", Michael Lang "Ravenna", "Wolfebee89", John P Fortin (Blood_Hawk23), Gary Aumaugher, LuftwaffeOberst, Martin Wright, Wolfi and all the SOH forum members for their help and support.
Thanks to Paul R. Hare for his "RAF Re8 at War" Windsock datafile.
Great thanks to Sir Peter Jackson, Ronny Bar, the TVAL and Wingnut Wings teams for the plethoric documentation on the Re8 found on their website.
