    Experimental project for a Dewoitine D510 V2

    Hello,
The Dewoitine D510 will undoubtedly be offered in V2 which would constitute a significant improvement in 3D, the cockpit, and maybe the pBR if I can understand a little how it works.
An "easy" and a "realistic" flight model will be offered, with the "easy" model even the less agile will land the aircraft without problems. The 3D radio installed and animated as well as possible to adapt to current standards is the real radio of the time. Likewise, the armament and fuel management system are corrected to correspond to the technical instructions of the real model. But that's what it would look like from the outside.

We'll see if there are any P3D enthusiasts left ...

Of course, I have both P3Dv3 and P3Dv4, so I would love to have this version 2 for either or both simulators, please

The 500 will be also in the game

    Hi,

The Dewoitine D500 will also be there with equivalent improvements (easy landing for example). She looks a lot like the 510 but in fact she is quite different: shorter, different landing gear, different rudder, different armament (hood machine guns) and of course different cockpit and performances.

    To be continued (lol)!

The D501 also on the road

    Hi,

Experimenting with the D501. I try to make things quite well for P3D 64 (V4.5 and V5) because some diffences with the shaders. A candidate ...

It's a hard work for me!

    Hi,
The experiment is over. The models were eventually created for the V5. They can be used with a few flaws with V4. They are available on the "RoyaleFrenchNavy" site.

Thanks and appreciate your efforts on this nice aircraft. In the cockpit looking right, there is what looks to be an obstruction (see red arrow)
I see the same situation looking to the left.

    Hi,
Textures are not missing, they are deleted (not converted to PBR). Your package as an outdated "aircraft.cfg"! You must download the latest on the "RoyaleFrenchNavy" site. No support for P3DV4 and FSX, because I no longer have the tools.
    JMC

Edit : The obstruction is an artefact, you exceed the limits due to the position of the pilot in the cockpit (360 ° rotation is not possible). To remove them reposition "eyepoint" in the aircraft.cfg and zoom in the CV view

I think what works for me it to sit lower in the seat and that will eliminate the brown objects from view. It will also limit view from the left/right side, no looking aft and seeing the tail like I was able
    to do before.

    Hi,
you are probably right but I never intended to allow this kind of behavior which I believe would be useful for RV or other equipment. I prefer to use a suitable camera like I did for the MS225. You also pointed out to me the fact that I did not update the "aircraft.cfg" from the "realistic" mode, I'm sorry. It is quite simple to rectify. I no longer intend to modify textures ... I'm a little weary and I want to move on.
    JMC
