Richard, is that a new repaint of yours for Mike's P-40, or is my old one? I was just going through files the other day and noticed I still have all of the repaints I did and was working on for the FSX version, still in their layered files. So, I was thinking of seeing about recompiling and releasing them for the MSFS version, if they still fit.
John, yes it’s a wip that I am trying to finalize for the P40N Flight Replicas (Mike). I have a good documentation about the Burma Banshees P40s. I would like to do some of their liveries.

Priller...question...is that the AzurPoly Fouga, or the freeware one from Restauravia? Reason I ask is that the BAF MT-35 repaint you are showing is more accurate that the one currently on flightsim.to for the AzurPoly Fouga, and if it is for the AzurPoly bird, I'd love to get it. Thanks - Kent.

    Hi Kent,

That is the freeware offering from Restauravia and the paint is included in the pack.

    Cheers,

    Gorgeous screenshots, guys!

I did some test flying today with a new repaint I should be able to upload tomorrow. This former RNZAF Mustang was restored by Bob Baker in the US, from boxes of parts, completed in 2009 to a very high level of original wartime factory finish and hardware, and painted to honor Buck Patillo. It flew as N5551D. After only reaching 88 hrs flight time, it was sold a couple years ago to a well-known English warbird owner named Steve Stead, who had the aircraft shipped to FAST Aero in Belgium where, after the engine was overhauled by Vintage V-12s, the aircraft was reassembled and registered in Belgium as OO-PSI. Among a few changes that were made now that it is based in Europe, the swastika kill markings on the fuselage were replaced with German crosses (it will be flying all over Europe), and non-slip tape was added to the port wing. It returned to flight earlier this year, becoming one of the latest additions to the European warbird scene. I'm including both versions, with the US and Belgian registrations, and the differences between when it was based in the US and now in Europe. The aircraft will be spending summers in the Czech Republic with the flying museum called Classic Trainers at the Letiště Plzeň Líně Airport, where it recently arrived. It was the star of the Pardubice Airshow a few weeks ago.

Hey, they have that thing from MSFS flying at the Paris Airshow at LFBO.

I'm watching it (live) with Big Jet TV : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plVMF2UQixY on Youtube.

Thank you, Noddy. For anyone interested, 'Little Rebel' is now available here (with one of the longest descriptions I've written for a repaint): https://flightsim.to/file/56882/p-51...l-two-versions

I've been looking forward to seeing what the next MSFS "Famous Flyer" is going to be when it is released on Friday. What the aircraft is has yet to be mentioned anywhere, as far as I know.

BlueMesh have done a phenomenal job with the Latécoère, inside and out (I especially love the passenger interior), but it's just not a type that's appealing to me/wouldn't get enough use from me. BlueMesh dropped a hint on their Facebook page a couple days ago which seems to indicate they've been working on a J-3 Cub - if that is the case, I hope that it will have enough unique features to make it interesting and set it apart from all of the other very similar aircraft most of us already have in our virtual hangars.

  23. #5098
The Latecoere has one minor setback, if you write her name as it should here in the editor, with the accent grave and accent aigu where they belong, the editor will not like it. Editing prohibitit.

Yes, the passenger interior is a true BlueMesh work of art, John. Art Deco even. Best interior decoration ever in MSFS i'd say. Here's a few snapshots :

The cockpit detailing is likewise superb :
