    John-

Lovely- brought back many memories. We were there a few years ago, but chickened out and drove in. On the other hand, I have flown in to Sun-n-Fun many times- always an exciting arrival! Has someone already done an OSH2021 addon for MSFS. I tell you, that was the only thing X-plane had on us... not anymore! The community surge of altruism is heartening- makes the rest of the current rubbish goings on tolerable.

    Thanks for the memories!

    C

Anyone know if there is actually an "Ultra version" available?

I was able to download Basic and Medium but Ultra came up as "This site can’t be reached" (maybe my account isn't high enough)?

    Darn!

According the official Discord discussion, the ultra was only available during the event from July 21-25th.

I wonder how different the versions appear in game.

    Out of luck I guess.

    Sigh...

Stéph and KB, I've just sent you private messages.

Well, the bridge disappeared from the NAS Pensacola (KNPA) scenery. This is default. Previous release looked better than this!! And this is with level of detail at 130!

They're probably making some compromises to get that advertised bump in frames. I started this process just over three hours ago and I still haven't started a flight. The first download was almost two and a half hours, then a couple of mystery CTD hiccups, and now I'm downloading probably another hour+ in the Content Manager. I just love these long nights...

No sir, as you were able to DL the basic- and medium version you are certainly NOT out of luck. This is the result of *my* trials to even get a password to enter the site and finally figure out where to get that magnificent scenery :

    From PilotEdge Download page :

Legal: This scenery is property of PilotEdge and shall not be redistributed or shared. We do not consent to use of the scenery for online events outside of PilotEdge.
Download the Ultra Version (no longer available post event)
Download the Medium Version (no longer available post event)
Download the Basic Version (no longer available post event)

Did you also download the updated versions of the World Updates from your content manager ? (or from the marketplace, I don't remember....).
Maybe that's the reason you're not seeing that bridge anymore ?

I've been really enjoying Sim Update 5. I think this is my new favorite aircraft, for the time being. I really like all of the effort they went to, adding all of the external and internal details of the float version. You can really notice the tremendous amount of drag from the floats as well. The Wipline floats are manufactured just a few miles from where I live, and are tested on the Mississippi River even closer to where I live. These are some shots from landing on the St. Croix River, near Hudson, WI, and south of Stillwater, MN.

The only thing I haven't liked about Sim Update 5, is that it causes the toolbar tab (triangle/handlebars) at the top of the screen to remain showing, and won't simply go away when not moving the mouse as before. I was pointed to this mod, which completely removes the toolbar tab, and it works perfectly: https://flightsim.to/file/9900/no-handle-bar

Thank you, Ryan! Yeah, I thought it was so cool to see the floats properly depicted with the Wipline name.

    Hi, everyone!

So, folks after 11 years where I am here in this forum. Now I have my premiere with my very first posting here in the SOH, with the DC6 HB-IBS on the flight to Rome. I hope you like the pictures.

Have a nice evening, greetings, Chris. (Pirosch)

Some more SU 5 screenshots - really enjoying the boost in performance! I was flying around NYC last night, and it was butter smooth and my graphics card never screamed at me.
