20 years ago today, July 29, 2003, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight was released. I have perhaps, in my life, never been more excited or have had greater anticipation for a game launch than I did through the months leading up to its release, and I made a bee line to Best Buy that morning to purchase my copy.

Fortunately, thanks to Asobo, Aeroplane Heaven, Bluemesh, Inibuilds and Shepbur, we have in MSFS (2020) many of the classic "Century of Flight" aircraft that originally drew me to FS2004.

As others have said, since the recent update, I've been flying the Trimotor more and more, and it really is a nice rendition.

Although you are able to destroy large buildings by civil aircraft, Microsoft still sells Boeing, Airbus etc for MSFS. They are also weapons. Almost all things can be handled as weapons. I can't understand their attitude no more - even if everyone can buy a gun or weapon everywhere over there in the USA - but it's a shame to show it? I mean, only show it without function...on a fighter jet? Come on...
In most cases, this destroys history and authenticity of those aircraft.
