Travel towards France was quite uneventful with a watchful eye on the #1 engine gauges. Beatiful atmosphere though and quite a nice day for such a flight.
Passengers point of view on the way to Corse
Damn Co-Pilot left again...
Some distant rain over the island of Corse
Approaching Nice. The chart for the assigned VOR DME approach has two pages, quite a lot to do.
Hardly any time to admire the scenery. Coming in quite high, time to set the flaps to 50° and get that bird down.
Manual control in the final corner of the approach.
The approach was quite a challenge to do by the books (as far as I can manage) but very interesting also. After landing engine #1 oil pressure gauge was at the lower rest, so I quickly shut the engine down. Time to find some old school mechanics around here who still know what a piston is.
