What tool do most pilots use to take screen shots in MSFS?

I am a "Windows Key + Print" man as well but would love to know if there are ways to improve the quality.

I assume that, as in all photography, one is limited by the quality of the original image.

I think it was from flightsim.to, will try to track it down.

I think it's one of the many repaints removed by the authors themselves.

Do you still have a copy of the old FSScreen.exe app? If so, it still works with Win 11 and captures screenshots in 24-bit bmp format. That means there's zero loss in your original capture. From there you can use your fav image processor app to convert with minimal compression for the best quality conversion.

DJV, if you want to get rid of that red-green distortion in the hangar, you can do a quick edit. Open the UserCfg.opt (two folder levels up from the Community folder) and search for the word Fringe. There are two instances of Fringe 1 - change them to Fringe 0 and restart.

Update to the T-45 released today.

I can't for the life of me remember which key strokes pull the pilot's coloured visor down... any prompts gratefully received....
