Most of what is seen in the preview images is actually stock/default scenery.

This is the default Darrington area, with no addons. You can compare some of these directly to the ORBX product images and see how little is actually different/how much is actually the exact same with or without the product.

Bomber, from the looks of this image, have you done tree reduction? I'm doing a direct compare to the Orbx offering, and my trees are taller.

Yes, at least just for now. I'm using this file: https://flightsim.to/file/392/tree-h...ealistic-trees

I'm going to revert back before the next update, to see what changes Asobo has made.

    Vegas Area

Did an online flight just now from 1G4 to KVGT. Using the Bonanza mod everything went pretty well but my fps dropped periodically within the Las Vegas area. I took a bunch more but here's just a few starting with Lake Mead.

Wow! Nice to see the lotussim L-39 in MSFS. Is it working ok in the new sim?

    Cheers,

    Edwin

Remember the turmoil (literally) his amazing L-39 evoked when it was released for FSX ? Outstanding quality and innovation as ever there was and out of the blue too ! Might be a chance he will surprise us again, He's an innovator afterall and i suppose there's lots of ground for that in MSFS. Fingers crossed!

As close to a RAF fast jet at present.

Would be amazing to see a native MSFS L-39 lotus style in the near future . Fingers crossed indeed.

Working surprisingly well. After transposing all the aircraft.cfg and airfile data into MSFS, it flies better than the default jets. The biggest issue is several important VC clickspots don't work, like NAV radio. Seems like if clickspots are too crowded or overlapping, they don't work. Also, no GPS. One thing that is brilliant is the front wheel castering. Steering with differential braking works much better in MSFS then FSX/P3D.

For just tooling around while waiting for some good MSFS add-ons to come out, it's nice to have.

On this day in 1862, the Battle of Antietam (also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg, for the name of the nearby city) was fought during the American Civil War. I decided to do a flyover of the battlefield and surrounding area. The photo scenery in this region isn't of the highest quality, but all of the historic sites around the battlefield are easy to identify - Bloody Lane, Final Attack Trail, Roulette's Farm, Mumma's Farm and cemetery, Otto's Farm, Burnside's Bridge, and the Antietam National Cemetery, to name some.

I remember in FS9 that airport had about ninety-eleven aircraft models parked all over. It's a shame they didn't do that here.

I personally like KOSH without all of the aircraft like in FS9/FSX, as it now better represents how the airport looks the other 51 weeks of the year outside of the airshow week. I'm sure, in time, there will be an airshow addon for it.

Have you adjusted the date to that of the airshow? I was just wondering if they do have more aircraft there in that time frame?
