Tom, that's the Alphasim. I'm working on bringing it forward into the game -- slowly-- as I learn.

WIP repaint, first test flight since starting on it three-four weeks ago (still a lot to do/add before it's finished). Depicts one of the four Mustangs operated as part of the Dakota Territory Air Museum.

We are graced with a new freeware upgrade to KFRG Farmingdale airport which includes a credible representation of the American Airpower Museum as well as other improvements. The static warbird selection outside the museum might be a bit optimistic for a normal day, but I have seen comparable groups of planes there during their events. This is my local warbird museum so I'm pleased to have it. Big improvement over the stock airport.

The American Heritage Museum, operated by the Collings Foundation, displays a collection of armored vehicles and vintage aircraft, many of them operable, at a small airstrip west of Hudson and south of Stow, Massachusetts. It is not an airport in MSFS and it is not shown on VFR sectional charts of the area, not even as a private strip. But they do fly off of there, including the first public flight of their newly restored original Nieuport 28 a couple of weekends ago. And MSFS's terrain is sufficiently accurate that you can operate there too. It's pretty easy with a light GA aircraft or a vintage biplane, although you will have to thread it through a break in the trees on short final. Somehow, Collings appears to operate some of their WWII fighters from the strip as well, which must be quite a pucker factor as I reckon the strip to be about 2300 feet with a kink at the north end. The coordinates are 42.40272038784511, -71.509114739921 if you want to drop in.
