This thread, focused on a release from one of our own who's done a lot freeware releases over the years, deserves to be stickied.

I'll chalk it up to an honest oversight, but it's been out for over four days now. It's a small gesture that if any payware project deserves, then this gift and work of love deserves even more so.

It's a finely modeled finished product, some nice sounds, and fun and easy to fly - and lots of repaint potential.

    Food for thought.

Ed, I just flew a flight down in Peru - Tacna to Arequipa - in P3dv3.5. I haven't got v4 but it flies well in v3.5 !

Good to know. Were you flying the FSX version or the P3D version?

Duh . . . . . I dunno, when I sober up, I will see what one I have. (hang head down and sheepish look)

EDIT: semi-sober - only one download available was what I D/L - part of readme : "By downloading this model of the Shorts 360 you agree to the following conditions.
This model of the Shorts 360 can only be installed into FSX and Prepar3D . . . . "

It appears that this release doesn't warrant a stickie!

If we are permitted to post repaint requests on this Short 360 thread, may I kindly request repaint for this plane as seen on the accompanying photo below, please?

Thank you for any consideration any of you might have for this repaint request.

Probably overweight with 75% fuel IIRC, been a long time since I had anything to do with 330/360 (its one of my type ratings).

You can get flight manual here http://www.avialogs.com/index.php/en...riant-300.html

All these are nice, but I especially would love to have the Pacific Coastal livery for my B.C. and PNW flights.

While we're on the topic of possible repaints, here are some 360's that I've taken photos of over the past few years that might serve as inspiration. The last one's tail number is N973AA.

I know this is a Short 360, and the C-23A was based on the Short 330 version, but would someone be willing to paint this great aircraft in the colors of the 10th Military Airlift Squadron based at Zweibrucken, Germany in the 80's?

    Best regards,
    Randy
