    FSX@War

Site says it's P3D compatible, just not specifically v4 though has my concern. Anyone tried this yet? Since I just re-purchased the Super Bug and Tac Pack, and resolved my CTD in V4, I figured why not....

    Any recommendations, thoughts or feedback?

They just released their latest BETA versions of FSX@War and CCP that are meant to be compatible with P3Dv4....but they haven't been tested yet, since they needed tacpack.

I can tell you that I was able to get the previous versions of CCP and FSX@War (that were FSX and P3Dv3 compatible) to work with P3Dv4, but it took manually copying files to do it.

Outstanding news! What are your thoughts about the add on? I followed it for a while when it was being tested in FSX a few years ago but lost interest when I left the States for Korea and lacked a good, robust PC to run FSX with all the add ons I had to that point. Now retired and with a hefty rig to run it, looking to put some hours on the virtual battlefields when not flying GA or others in the more peaceful environments.

Did it feel immersive? In other words, RWR and potential AI OPFOR poised to be intercepted and/or bombed?

Jut curious...certainly going to give it a try when I get home but always love others feedback too.

Things aren't quite "there yet".....but all the ingredients are coming together nicely.

    As it stands right now...

FSX@War gives you static targets to attack and CCP gives you moving targets to attack, as well as friendly AI to fly formation with....but they cant harm you.
(One exception is that you can have up to ten active SA-2 sites via CCP that CAN definitely harm you).

FSCAI (beta) allows the FSX@War static objects AND the CCP moving objects to shoot at you if they are equipped with weapons.

There are some other revolutionary things in development that I'm dying to talk about....but I'm sworn to secrecy.

I really think 2018 is going to be an exciting year for all of us.
