Looking great! That's why I didn't volunteer. I knew it was in great hands.

I'm not that familiar with C-119 variants but is this one to have the Wright R-3350 or the P&W R-4360 engines?

This is SOOOO awesome to see Cabby finally closer to arrival!
Hi Willy, the engines modelled are the Wright R-3350-85 versions. They switched to those from the 4360 early on after having too many engine failures. Having a 4360 fail on a 4-engine aircraft is tolerable, having one fail on a twin is a different kettle of fish. It's quite interesting when you get into the history of the many variants. The empenage along the boom in front of the fin was added after some early accidents ended with the booms collapsing at the rear of the wing after heavy landings. They also added reinforcing rings to the inside of the booms and Tankerguy has done a great job of showing those in his panel lines and rivets.

Hot Damn that's the chicken basket there!
Great work there Jeremy! Most impressive.
Thanks Larry!
Not that I really have to have one, but will there be a paint kit?

Thank you! I am surprised how quickly I have done most of the detail and thats thanks to Larry's neat mapping. Very clean work.
Will Definitely release my paintkit when finished.
I have just destroyed my keyboard
drooling at the prospect of this beauty
coming to an airport near me.
Congrats to everyone creating this much

Oustanding work! As a fellow painter I know how much work it is behind something looking that good :-) Thank you!
I hope the paintkit can be shared when you are finished! I thinking about doing a few RNoAF paints.
Best regards
