    C-160 Transall by JSS Simulations / Flight1

This was completely off the radar as far as I am concerned. Does anyone here know about this or has anyone bought it already and is willing to comment on it?

Darn it! Whenever I think I have enough aircraft I see something I just have to have.

Even comes with a SAAF paint,I can fly out of the box, no painting required.

The developer of this aircraft says they have a connection with MilViz in re: certain aspects of the avionics. Wonder if they'll be doing any more collaborations with MilViz?

I read that to mean the weather radar. Could be wrong though.

So is this a new version of the old C-160 what was payware for FS9 some years ago or is it a totally new project that has slipped in under the radar? I never bought the old FS9 model because by the time I saw it, I was moving over the FSX and it looked very dated (almost FS2002 level of detail). The VC on this model (from my memory of the old one) seems considerably improved.

    Update:
Yes it is an all new C-160 and there had been a previous post about it.

Here are some youtube videos of the model:

Please pardon the repeat posts but based on what I saw, I decided to go ahead and buy it and when I get the chance, I will give everyone my assessment of the model in FSX. Fingers crossed on my being the local "guinea pig" on this one! lol

Addendum, just a very quick look at the model and I have to say, I am VERY impressed with the external and internal model as well as the systems depth. The flight model and the engine sounds are very nice. For $26, you simply can't go wrong with buying this model!

The only connection with Milviz was helping them integrate the weather radar.
