    Another old low & slow

Just uploaded to Flightsim, so keep an eye open for her in the next couple of days.

Arrow Active Mk II. She is designed for FS9, but will portover to FSX & P3D, with a minor problem or two

As it says, it a short video of her.

    Have fun

    Arrow Active MK-II

So far I have not been able to port over this aircraft to my FSX set up. Everything looks good until I look for the plane and it's nowhere in my airplane list!

Has anyone added an "Installer" for us newbies and illiterates?

I have a file in my backups called arrow_active_fsx_fix.zip which may be the fixer. It is by Michael Pook and much of his fixes can be found on Simviation. Don't know if it works as theis is one a/c I have yet to get around to installing

As I included texture files for both FS9 & FSX, your problem might be that you have chosen the wrong texture folder to rename as I tried to explain in my Readme. FS9 will not show her if textures are bigger than 1024 x 1024 & the FSX textures are 2048 x 2048. The correct rename procedure also necessary for the sound file linking, but that should not affect the listing not showing her.
Please keep me posted & I will give you as much help as I can.
    Regards

Keith, what is your opinion of the file I mentioned above? From the readme he claims it fixes bouncing on r/w. Perhaps you didn't know of its existence.

Yes I was aware & corresponded with Michael on it. It was a bounce that he experienced that I could not replicate in FS9, FSXA, or FSX SP2. The Smoke effect is something he likes to add to all his models, but could be a problem in computing capability that affects the models? See the comments on his upload over at Flightsim.

I have just re downloaded my model & installed & check flighted in FSX SP2 & all is OK, so hopefully Old Airman can sort his problem. If he cannot I suggest a PM to me with his e-mail address & we can then correspond directly.
    Keith
