    P3D V3.2 update

I downloaded Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.2.3.16769 today and I am wondering if I have to uninstall the complete P3D V2.2 or just uninstall the P3D Client to install the upgrade.

    Cheers

V2.x and V3.x are different sims, so you can have both installed at the same time. It's NOT an upgrade for V2.x

My mistake Dave. I should have said P3D V3.2. This is an upgrade from V3.2.2 to V3.2.3.

I think you can start with the client and if you encounter problems you can update other components. As far as I know you don't damage anything if you start with the client first.

Best to do both "client" and "content" otherwise you'll get issues with some add-ons that use in-sim menus such as AI Carriers.

I have just done the Client for now. Nice to see the Selection Menu is back. Can now use commands like ALT+E+S for vehicle selection or ALT+W+A for airport selection.

Unfortunately the problem with the CH Yokes and pedals has not been rectified. It shows "CH Yoke" in the Controls panel but it still doesn't read the input from the levers. Still have to set things up in FSUIPC.

I also use the CH products and I do not have the issue you describe. My yoke and pedals work flawlessly.

Be interesting to know how you got it to work. I have them working using FSUIPC but would be interested in how you got them to work by default.

There is quite a big forum topic on this running on the LM site.

I didn't do anything special to get my yoke to work Pat. After a clean install of P3D 3.2 the calibration menu in the sim recognized all axes without any issues. I even stopped using FSUIPC. I have no idea what's going on at your end. Wish I could help...
