I had that happen with conflicting trerrain meshes years ago. Anytime I crossed a certain line in Vancouver Island Canada it would POP CTD. Same message as yours terrain.dll. Finding it was not easy....

The images will not show up until I rename every image file in the image directory. Some D**K head back in 2013 mistakenly wrote all the code to include lower case file names but all of the files...

There is some relative code that needs fixed. example capital letters that are not capitalized etc. Working on fixing it.
