Happy so see you back in the air again, SgtT! :wavey::applause:
Wolfi: Mine is not an upgraded to Win 10 system. To install CFS2 in a new Win 10 system: 1. Create a folder on your C drive - I named mine CFS2, 2. Install the sim into that folder. 3. Open...
I just bought a powerful new Win10 desktop -HP with an I-9 processor a 16 Gig Nvidia video card, and 32 Gb RAM! My next project is to see if I can set up a "Virtual Machine" on it and see if I can't...
I tried Rami's solution of building my connection to cfs2 from an administrator log in, transferred the shortcuts from my old desktop to the new one. And lo... MB is now working! ...
Thanks Rami. My virgin Win10 stll won't load MB. I'll try your procedure when I talk to you on Skype. :wiggle::wiggle:
I just check and my Legacy Components tab was already enabled/turned on. Any other suggestions? :dizzy:
Thanks Dave. I'll give that a try as soon as I get back on my 10 laptop. I am currently involved in finishing up my MB work on a campaign, but on my Win7 system. I'l give your suggestion a try in...
Thanks Allen: I tried your mods on the nstall that I am hoping to work on, a "virgin" CFS2 install and another install with no success in MB (the same message) in all 3. Free Flight works in all of...
It now says 1024x768x32 and yes, that was the full screen screenshot :dizzy: I have pasted your data into the cfs2.cfg, there is no other DISPLAY data... Tried MB again...no joy.
I cannot tell what resolution is used in full screen mode. The display settings read: 1920 X 1080 X 32 but as you can see in screenshot 2 it is not that. I can't seem to change it.
CFS2 runs normally in both windowed and full screen. I've tried that and several other display resolution settings but no joy.:redfire:
I have made the modifications, suggested by dvslats above, but I still get this when I try to open MB in Win 10: :banghead::banghead:
That was a good compilation of this thread. Thanks Dave! :wavey::applause::applause::applause:

AcWai: Did you install CFS2 on a base Win 10 system or one, upgraded from Win 8.1 or 7? If from the basic system, is your Mission Builder working?
I haven't started up my Windows 10 system yet. I decided to plug away on a few missions on my Win 7 laptop. I'd really like to do it on my Win 10 laptop as it is a newer, better computer with a...
...and I have 1248, so that should not be an issue in my case.
Ravenna: I will try my "virgin install" of cfs2 and see if MB works when I get home. As I recall, I don't think it works either.
Does anyone recall the max number of dps for the Objects DP...
I copied an install of cfs2 from my Win7 computer in which MB works fine. I tried it on the Win10 laptop and had the same problem. CFS2 game works fine, but when I try MB, I get the same message as...

Any suggestions???
Thanks Oglivie. I ran into a problem with Mission Builder in this and another, otherwise working, install. When I start MB I get a message as shown in the screenshot below. When I click ok, it...
I have an HP Win 10 system and couldn't get CFS2 to work for anything for months. :banghead: Well, I downloaded and installed DirectX-9, set my CFS2.exe compatibility to Win XP SP 3, loaded several,...
This is a very informational thread. Shouldn't it be promoted to "sticky" status? :wavey:
