Adjusting the motor sound

In some aircrafts ex. B17g the sound of the motors starting comes afther the propeller starts running.
How can this be adjusted ?

The electric starter motor does not make much noise relative to the engine itself eventually starting.

There's also inertial starters which start making quite a bit of noise before the prop ever moves. One day we'll see this in CFS3 if I have anything to do with it.
